"Golden Hour in Autumn" Resin Piece (12in Round) #4

A beautiful 3D mountain scene depicting the brilliant colors as the sun falls behind the peaks during Autumn. Meant to capture those times we all can't help but stand and stare in awe of the absolute beauty of a mountain sunset. This piece is part of a small collection of pieces that depict the Aspen tree color change during the Colorado Fall. A perfect piece for those decorating with a rustic modern feel! 

How it's Made:

First a 12in wooden circle is cut out of a larger piece of reclaimed wood. Then 7 different colors of epoxy are carefully poured to create the sunset. Next the background mountains are drawn out onto sheet steel and cut by hand with a plasma torch and then given texture with an angle grinder. Finally the foreground is drawn out on a piece of poplar wood and meticulously cut out with a scroll saw, sanded, and hand painted.
