Inspiration: “Wapiti", another name for Elk meaning ‘ghost of the forest,’ captures the enduring strength and mystery of these elusive creatures.

Composed of: Reclaimed barnwood for the backer. Over one hundred hand cut and hand sanded pieces of black walnut and barnwood were used to capture Elk's body while poplar wood was used for the antlers . Epoxy resin was used to create the eye.
