About the Artist

I feel incredibly grateful to have grown up in Colorado, surrounded by stunning landscapes and endless adventure. When I started Stains and Woodgrains in 2015, my goal was simple: to create a few pieces for my own home that captured that deep sense of gratitude. I wanted the art on my walls to reflect my passion for being in the mountains and to serve as a daily reminder to keep exploring.

It all began with a few hand-me-down tools and a plastic picnic table as my workbench. Over time, that humble setup turned into a full-time creative pursuit. My inspiration has always come from the rugged beauty of mountain landscapes and the quiet pull of nature, and over the last ten years, I’ve been fortunate to share that passion with people across the country.

Each piece is 100% made by hand with care and attention to detail. If you're looking for something truly unique that’s sure to add some rustic charm to your home, then you've come to the right place. If you have an idea for a custom project, please feel free to reach out. I’d love to create something special for you.

Thanks for being here.
